Submission Preparation Checklist
- Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will be returned to the authors.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format.
The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
Wherever possible, URLs are provided for references. - The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Authors Guide.
The text is single spaced; 12-point font size; italics are used instead of underlining (except in URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed in the appropriate places in the text, rather than at the end. - The files and tables must be made in Word. The text should be in Times New Roman size 12 with single spacing (1.0).
- Photographs, images or graphic files will be sent as PDF or as an image file (JPEG or similar).
- Every article sent must contain the following files:
Presentation letter.
Title page: It must contain the title (in Spanish and English), the authors with their affiliation data, correspondence author (postal address and email must be specified)
Manuscript: is the body of the article; It will be structured according to the different types of articles as specified in the previous section.
Images: photographs, images or graphic files must be high quality with a resolution of 300 dpi. to final print size. Otherwise, they may not be published. As a guideline, it can be considered that the file containing an image will have a size of no less than 500 KB. - Conflict of interest: Authors must declare all possible conflicts of interest in the form of personal or financial relationships that could be related to the results of the article. If there are no conflicts of interest, the authors must also include it in a section of the manuscript with the phrase "There are no conflicts of interest."
- Ethical considerations: Authors must have carried out their research in accordance with the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki and the standards of good clinical practice, as well as current legislation. Study participants have given their consent to participate in the study.
- Funding: The authors must specify if the research has received any source of funding. If there is no source of finance, the authors must include it in the session corresponding to financing with the following sentence "This research has not received specific aid from public sector agencies, the commercial sector or non-profit entities."
